Workshops will be held in July for community youth to learn more about the impact of the strike on their community, but also to learn about the artistic process. Jose Ortiz, founder of Hijos del Sol a non-profit organization part of the Alisal Center Fine Arts , will be leading the workshops. The artwork created by the youth will be on public display during the commemoration event held in August. Dates, times, and location of the workshop will be posted soon.
