Visual Artists

Artists, we are excited to have you participate in this exhibition! Please check out the following for more information on what participating artists need to know.

If you are an artist that has already submitted your entry please expect official confirmation as well as loan agreements in the mail. This information will be mailed out June 1, 2008.

Though the deadline has past for submissions we will be considering possible extensions. Please contact Carmina Eliason about a possible extension for your piece before June 1, 2008. We would hate to not include something meaningful and relevant to the show. You can reach Carmina at (831) 536-4436 or by email at pvacStrikeExhibit@gmail.com.

Call for Artists

We are looking for local artists to create art that explore the memories, feelings, and the experiences felt by the Watsonville community during the 1985-1987 frozen food strike. By local we mean artists who experienced the events firsthand, as onlookers, as children or family members of the strikers, or as individuals who have experienced the results of the strike in some way.
